Santa Cruz Bicycles was founded in 1993 in a space the size of a single car garage in the Seabright Cannery, in Santa Cruz California. Our first bike, the Tazmon, was a single pivot dual suspension bike that rattled established sensibilities and helped define our then- ethos of "simply advanced." That bike was the cornerstone for a brand that was founded on the notion of doing things our own way in order to build the best. We have been rattling sensibilities ever since.
GT'S STORY IS SIMPLE:
SPEED, SPEED AND EVEN MORE SPEED.
From GT’s namesake Gary Turner designing one of the first BMX race bikes in 1972 to our modern carbon fiber creations that redefine fast-as-hell, we’ve built a long legacy of racing, winning, yet never taking ourselves too seriously.
As a company, we’re 30 going on 18. And we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Mongoose - Founded in 1974 in a So Cal garage, Mongoose has always been an innovator. From our first product - cast-magnesium MotoMag wheels to our current crop of BMX, Mountain and pavement bikes, Mongoose is synonymous with bicycle performance.
We build for riders. It's why our BMX designers aren't wasting time watching reruns on ESPN2 - they're out testing our new designs at the park, on the track and on the hill. It's what drives us to cook things up like our Front Porch head tube, which lets you fine-tune the handling on our Black Diamond series mountain bikes, or Freedrive suspension technology, which eliminates pedal bob and gives you super-efficient full suspension. Experience that ultimately leads to better bikes for you.
Mongoose bikes don't just push the limits. They set new ones.
PRETTY SIMPLE PHILOSOPHY. WE BUILD BIKES WE WANT TO RIDE.
This ride focused mindset simplifies the process and allows the best ideas to rise to the top, uncompromised by egos or titles. Mechanics often see things our engineers don’t. Pro riders feel things that only great riders can feel. These are all relevant. Some ideas that come out of this process are big and others amount to small detail changes, but the collective sum of these ideas is substantial and defines our bikes when you get them on the dirt.
Caring about what we do.
Listening to our riders.
Working hard to achieve the results that we planned.
Not giving up somewhere in the middle of the road.
Doing only what we can do best.
Doing things differently.
These are just a few of the leading thoughts that have been with us since the beginning of NS Bikes

Built into every Fuji bike is 119 years of pride and passion. Fuji's century-old pedaling pedigree is present whether you're climbing on a feather-weight all-carbon road racer, slipping through the wind aboard an aero tri machine, ripping singletrack astride a full-suspension MTB, hopping barriers with a nimble 'cross bike or spinning the boardwalk on a stylish beach cruiser. For us it’s not just about the number of years we've created bicycles, it’s about what people say as a result of those years. More often than not we hear the same thing: “My first bike was a Fuji.”
